With this move, the company is responding to the ongoing shortage in the job market for developers, which continues to delay many innovation and digitalization projects.
“At Infodation, we excel at understanding, designing, building, and integrating complex back-office processes,” says Roxanne Kruysman, Commercial Director at Infodation. “We have architects, product owners, and consultants with extensive experience in these areas. But I often speak with companies that are already quite advanced in their innovation journey. They have their own product owners and development teams but struggle mainly with clearing their backlog because they simply don't have enough people.”
Shifters will support organizations with overflowing backlogs and overburdened IT teams by helping them speed up development, reduce technical debt, and satisfy increasingly demanding users.
“With this move, the company is responding to the ongoing shortage in the job market for developers, which continues to delay many innovation and digitalization projects.”
Gerrit Mulder and his partner, a Vietnamese software architect, were two of the founders of Infodation. “We've been working with international teams for a long time,” Gerrit explains. “So our Vietnamese colleagues are real team members, not anonymous outsourcing staff. In Vietnam, experienced and driven people — highly educated and with deep technical knowledge — are still relatively easy to recruit. As a result, neither we nor our clients are affected by the overheated Dutch job market.”
Gerrit emphasizes that the Shifters model is a much better solution than traditional outsourcing: “Thanks to our approach — with a Dutch team lead as a permanent point of contact — we avoid language barriers and cultural differences. As a result, the collaboration consistently proves to be enjoyable, fast, and highly effective.”
